At 5 years old he began learning the piano but found his true love – the guitar – at 19, teaching himself to play while travelling in Spain.
Marcus experimented with an array of musical instruments and genres before he started writing his own songs. Influenced by his love of folk music he writes from the heart, his lyrics reflecting his honesty and candour.
